Napton Football Club History Napton Football Club was reformed in 2002 when a number of dads got together so their children could get regular football matches. The previous football club played at Granton playing field, until the new school was built on it. The club then stopped running, until now, that is. After training at Daventry for the first two years, they finally moved to their new sports field in 2004. Since then, the club has gone from strength to strength, and now runs 6 teams, aged 7 to 50-something (no names mentioned!). Napton is now well known in the region to have a football club, with players coming from many places across Warwickshire and Northamptonshire. The junior teams play in the Three Counties League, except the under 15's, who play in the Mid Warwickshire Football League. The senior team play in the Daventry & District Sunday League. We are always looking for help, so if you wish to get involved in the running of the football club, we'll be delighted to hear from you.
